Partnership combines Groupe Madysta’s wireless telecommunication engineering, construction and maintenance services with Optelos’ advanced visual data management and analytics platform to optimize cell tower inspections and new technology upgrades.
Deer Park, TX, April 15, 2025 – Optelos, the leading supplier of visual data management and analysis software for cell tower inspection applications, and Groupe Madysta, who specializes in the construction and commissioning of wireless telecommunication sites, today announced this partnership. This partnership will allow Groupe Madysta to better utilize drone collected data to improve the accurate inspection and commissioning of cell towers, using Optelos digital twin and analytics capabilities.
Groupe Madysta’s drone pilots will upload drone collected data into the Optelos platform where digital twins of the cell towers are automatically created. Those highly accurate digital twins serve as the basis from which detailed analysis and measurements are performed, ensuring cellular equipment is properly placed, azimuth and down-tilt angles are optimized for maximum cell site performance, and to identify any other configuration or service impacting conditions. These digital twins along with the associated analysis, help ensure that cell sites are built to design specifications, as well as assist in the provisioning of new equipment. Leveraging the Optelos platform, Groupe Madysta will digitally transform the cell tower inspection, scoping and close out processes, streamlining operations and ensuring high quality deliverables. In addition, the Optelos platform correlates all drone collected data, 360 walkthroughs of the compound and 2D and 3D models to create a single comprehensive view of all tower data in one place. This allows better stakeholder collaborate using the most current data to rapidly assess cell site conditions for scoping build outs, PIM analysis as well as site acquisitions.
In announcing the partnership, Ed Sztuka, Optelos CRO, noted, “We are delighted to be working with Groupe Madysta on their cell tower projects. Our customers are always looking for ways to streamline work processes, and better leverage their drone collected data to digitally transform their business. This partnership will allow Groupe Madysta to deliver new capabilities to their customers and facilitate the effective management of all their drone data collections and cell site inspection activities”.
Groupe Madysta said of the partnership, “As part of our 3D modeling and photogrammetry project for our client’s telecommunications structures, Groupe Madysta selected Optelos for their asset management software and advanced drone-based 3D modeling technology. Their professionalism and responsive enabled the successful implementation of Madysta Group’s platform within a more than reasonable timeframe. Another major benefit to Groupe Madysta is Optelos’ pay as you pricing. Optelos eliminates all upfront costs and allows customers to pay as the go on a cell site by cell site basis, enabling us better manage expenses. ” said Rory Olenroot, Groupe Madysta Director of Telecom Services.
